Futuristic Mobile Phone That Makes Shopping Easier
Nokia is currently developing a cool feature that allows us to go shopping without going into the store. The concept is to let shoppers snatch a photo of items that they want to buy using their mobile phone, then with image regconition software, the phone will find the same item on the Internet, allowing them to purchase the items online. I think this is a pretty cool feature. We can now avoid queuing at the checkout and even buy clothes simply by looking through a shop window and taking a photo of the window display.

I really can't see this functioning very well, I mean, if you take a picture of something with 10 other items in the background, how is it going to know which one to target? I'm sure my blackberry with all its regular gadgets like facebook and rock ringtones will suffice for this cell phone cowboy.
The uses of cell phones will only be increasing. To prove this, just look at all the buzz surrounding phones (Google Android). This Nokia phone may or may not be a big hit but it is a good sign of what is to come. Eventually phones may replace computers.
That looks like an awesome phone with great features. I might ask my girl to get me a phone like this for Christmas. Great find!
That sounds like a really interesting piece of technology. I'm not convinced it's going to revolutionize shopping though. It feels a bit like a solution looking for a problem!
point, right! people must shopping easer
What i say
sounds a bit sketchy to me with the mobileviruses running around and passing creditcard etc info to it
